Persha Studia is now the largest game development company in Ukraine. Before joining forces with Wargaming, Persha Studia used to outsource projects for prominent Western game development companies. Since the studio’s inception, the team has grown from 15 founders to over 550 people with expertise in all areas of software development and art design. Over the course of its history, the Kyiv-based team collaborated with several renowned studios, including Electronic Arts, Activision, Sony Online Entertainment, Disney Interactive, and Cryptic Studios. A new chapter in the company’s history began in 2010, when it took up an opportunity to collaborate with Wargaming on the massively multiplayer online (MMO) action game World of Tanks. The Persha Studia team impressed Wargaming with outstanding 3D art models for the French line of vehicles. In 2011, the Kyiv-based developers signed long-term strategic partnership Wargaming family and begun working solely on Wargaming products.
